As a founding member of Capitol, Zander has been exposed to all aspects of the fit out & refurbishment industry from tendering, project delivery and management of reactive services & maintenance. Following the completion of his tertiary studies, including First Class Honours in Construction Management, Zander has amassed an impressive dossier of successful projects and testimonials. Zander’s appetite for knowledge and attention to detail, along with his insistence on premium quality outcomes, have resulted in his well-deserved progression to Company & Projects Director.

Samuel has been in the building industry for over 10 years, beginning his career in compliance consultancy and working his way through a decorated tenure as Contract Administrator. Sam’s consistent excellence in strategic planning and analytic project control has proven his ability to manage construction projects in all facets and deliver optimum results. Sam takes a methodical approach to project management and equipped with a background in Tier 1 construction projects, has broad systems experience to complement our Project Team.

His expertise in end-to-end commercial projects, including multi-level refurbishments, fit-outs, and new builds, and his work with Tier 1 companies, underscores his comprehensive skill set.

James Neilson

Head of Facilities Management

James’ career in the construction industry began as a site assist on a part-time basis during his secondary study years. Following attainment of his university degrees, James become the Finance & Accounts Manager at Capitol, before undergoing further training in OH&S and Environmental studies to welcome the role of HSEQ Manager. James’ biggest achievement at the company includes the creation of our HSEQ program, which awarded Capitol the internationally accredited compliance of ISO certification in Quality, OH&S, and Environment. Through his excellence in HSEQ Management, James soon after began his transition into the Facilities Division and quickly adapted to the role of Service Manager.

Cameron has worked in the building industry for 25 years; his expertise in carpentry, plastering and ceilings, he has extensive knowledge in the fabric of construction. Cameron is a nimble operator whose present role includes job evaluations, Site Management and the Operations Management of Capitol’s Service & Maintenance division. Cameron has a unique ability to engage with people at all levels, analysing tasks and client objectives, and negotiating with the effected parties to achieve harmonious outcomes.

Laura’s greatest strengths are in her ability to navigate multiple responsibilities, address and resolve client requests, and maintain seamless operations, which has prepared her to excel in dynamic and service-oriented environments. Laura enjoys analysing and creating improvement opportunities of work systems and output processors, fed by her passion to support her team & company.

Richard has refined his skills over 30 years from his carpentry background, therefore understands application protocols across the many separate trade disciplines and the importance of structured efficient progression. Richard has worked with our Managing Director for more than 20 years, shares his passion for integrity, and leads by example for all site attendees.

Scott’s progression through the construction industry has resulted in an extremely competent Site Manager with a clear understanding of application and programming.
